PASS facilitator comments

"PASS has been an absolute asset in my search for a graduate position after University, to the extent that I feel the presence of facilitation and mentoring on my resume has given me the edge over other candidates in actually getting to the interview stage. My time in the PASS program, through both facilitation and mentoring, has certainly improved my employability through a combined development of collaborative, teamwork, administrative and analytical skills."

"I really enjoyed assisting students in working together with their fellow students to find the answers to their questions and consolidate their understanding of the unit. It was really encouraging to hear most PASS students received higher than average marks in their assessment tasks."

"It was great seeing the students actually understand information better after PASS sessions. Hearing comments such as 'PASS really helped me a lot', 'I really wouldn't have been able to get the marks I am getting if it wasn't for PASS'. It was really rewarding and I have also gained great friends through facilitating."

"The most rewarding aspect of being a PASS facilitator was to have the opportunity to guide students to do their assignments and prepare for the exams. Observing the process where students were able to answer their questions themselves and work cooperatively in groups was rewarding."
