Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at Western Sydney University can look forward to learning in a friendly and supportive environment, which promotes independent thinking and embraces diversity. At the Badanami Centre for Indigenous Education, you will find a supportive and culturally appropriate learning environment that caters to the needs of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students.
We have seven centres across different locations amongst the WSU multi campus orientation which are located at the following; Bankstown, Campbelltown, Liverpool, Kingswood, Hawkesbury, Parramatta South, Parramatta City. At each of these centres you will find a Student Success Officer who is there to assist you in any aspect to support your university experience.
At Western Sydney University, we are committed to providing higher education pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and contributing to the process of reconciliation as an educational institution. We are dedicated in providing learning and educational oppurtunities amongst the Australian community and sharing the cultures, languages, history and contemporary experiences of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Our aim at Western Sydney University is to provide education which is rewarding, not just intellectually but socially and culturally as well.
