Free digital textbooks
All students enrolled in first-year subjects will receive free digital textbooks in 2018. This initiative is one of the world’s largest provisions of free textbooks for commencing university students. With the average cost of a text book being $100 per book, our students receive up to $800 worth of value. The textbooks will be available as digital textbooks, on any device, on campus or at home. There are a small number of units that will require printed textbooks, and students in those units will be advised on how
and where to access them.
Get ready for the campus of the future
To meet the needs of tomorrow’s workplace, you need access to a new kind of campus. The campus of the future. Western has you covered.
We are so excited to announce the opening of our five-star campus in the Parramatta CBD – one of the most technologically advanced teaching and research spaces in the world.
It’s joined by our brand-new Liverpool City campus – a 3000m2, technology-rich, purpose-built facility based in Macquarie Street – and our soon-to-opened, state-of-the-art, multi-storey campus in Bankstown CBD.
Western has eight campuses across Western Sydney, and one in the Sydney CBD. Why? Because we’re not a traditional ‘sandstone’.
We’re a university of the people. And where the people are, so are we.
All our campuses are close to public transport and parking. They’re equipped with stand-out education and technology facilities.
And you’re never far from green spaces, quiet study areas and, of course, some of Sydney’s best food and coffee.
