Particular Focus in Chaplaincy | As a Christian, I want to love and support all students and staff on campus, regardless of anyone’s religious background or culture. In particular though, I spend the bulk of my week meeting up with Christian students/staff and those interested in learning about Christianity: running Bible study groups each day; giving weekly public Bible talks; running training courses and seminars; and simply meeting up with people to talk about life, God, provide support, read the Bible and pray. |
Other info you would like to share | I’ve lived in Western Sydney my entire life and actually did my first degree (Business) at Penrith campus. I’ve been at this campus in some capacity now for 12 years and have a great love for Western Sydney, this Uni and its students/staff. My experience on campus and in Western Sydney means I know what it’s like to be a student, so I’m happy to help anyone navigate the system, discuss the stresses of uni life or help you out with any difficulties. I also live in Kingswood so am able to meet up with people after hours, and regularly have students/staff around to my house to join my family for dinner and share life together. |
Wisdom saying (e.g. quote or sacred text) | “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16) |
