Future Teacher Scholarships | Students enrolled in NESA-accredited initial teacher education programs in NSW are encouraged to apply for Federation’s Future Teacher Scholarships. The scholarships are part of Federation’s ongoing commitment to the teaching profession in public schools and are one of the many ways Federation supports its student members. Awardees can use their $4000 scholarship to help with educational expenses directly related to their teacher training, such as a laptop, textbooks, computer software and stationery. Federation’s Future Teacher Scholarships Committee will award up to 15 scholarships to successful applicants across the following categories:
Applicants may nominate for more than one category of scholarship in their application, if appropriate. Federation student members (studying full or part time) may apply for a Future Teacher Scholarship. Not a member? Student membership of the union is free; click here to join. Applications close at 4pm Friday 30 May 2025. Click here for more details or contact the Membership and Training Officer via futureteachers@nswtf.org.au or phone (02) 9217 2100. |
