EdFest - Teaching Careers Expo

Held during Semester One/Autumn session only

EdFest is compulsory for commencing students, with current students welcome to attend as well. EdFest provides students with the opportunity to explore career start information and network with a wide range of employer and teaching sourcing agencies, including the Department of Education, Catholic Education office, Independent Schools, as well as local and international education agencies.

Compulsory Course Commencement (ComCoCom)

(Compulsory for all new Master of Teaching Birth-5/Birth-12 students)

Date: Monday 18 July 2022
Time: 10.00am - 1.30pm
Venue: Building 23, Bankstown campus

ComCoCom will provide attendees with important course and academic advice to support you as you transition into postgraduate studies. Information on unit selection and progression, special requirements, key dates, student support will be provided. Academic staff will be available throughout the day to provide course advice.

Optional Sessions for Master of Teaching - Birth-5/Birth-12 students

Date: Wednesday 20 July 2022
Time: 12.30pm - 3.00pm
Venue: Online

On Wednesday 20 July, you are encouraged to attend a variety of sessions where you can learn about the different services available to you within the University and how they can support you throughout your education degree. The sessions include guests from the library, digital futures, welfare and disability who share useful information on the support available to you should you ever need it. You will also have the opportunity to meet with first year advisor Kerry Staples.
