Equity Buddies Network

The Equity Buddies Network offers FREE, individual, face-to-face mentoring for first year students in Autumn Session 2016 on the Bankstown campus. Mentoring is provided by students trained as mentors, and who are studying 101874 Experiential Learning in Communities in the School of Education.

Mentors can help you with aspects of university life such as:

  • uni expectations
  • getting to know the campus
  • understanding learning guides
  • using vUWS
  • referencing
  • being both a guide and a friend
  • starting assignments
  • time management
  • academic literacy
  • using the library
  • planning study
  • accessing Western Sydney University resources

The Equity Buddies Network welcomes all first year students and students transitioning into second year from other education providers.
