Master of Teaching Literacy and Numeracy Assessment TASK Registration Form

This form is to be completed by Continuing Students only who have not satisfactorily passed the School of Education Literacy and/or Numeracy Assessment TASK

Dear student

Please read the important information below; then proceed to register by selecting your course from the drop down menu and completing each question below.

From 2H 2018 the School of Education Literacy and Numeracy Assessment TASKs will include online components.

Literacy TASK: This will consist of an ‘on-the-spot’ written response* AND online modules and online quiz**. The Literacy Task will focus on features of reading, language and writing

Numeracy TASK: This will consist of online modules and online quiz**. The Numeracy Task will allow you to use an online calculator.

*The ‘on-the-spot’ written response will be undertaken at Bankstown Campus on Friday 3 August 2018. 45 minutes will be allocated for the written task (this includes reading time). Please ensure you bring a black or blue pen with you.

**After you have completed the relevant online modules you will be required to undertake an online quiz which consists of 30 multiple choice questions. 1 hour will be allocated for the quiz. IMPORTANT: the quiz must be undertaken in one sitting; that is once you commence the quiz you will be unable to pause the quiz.

Results:
Literacy TASK: The result will be based on performance in both the ‘on-the-spot’ written response AND the online quiz. Students must achieve the required standard in both components to achieve an overall ‘Satisfactory’ result.
Numeracy TASK: The result will be based on performance in the online quiz. You must achieve a ‘Satisfactory’ result.
