Food Waste Prevention
The National Vegetable Protected Cropping Centre (opens in a new window) is a 1800 m2 glasshouse facility designed to house research, education, and training opportunities in advancing modern horticultural activities.
The Centre produces quantities of fresh vegetables each year, using minimal resources. The produce is donated to Food Bank to assist in their programs to reduce food insecurity by offering food relief across Australia.
