1          K:         hachi gatsu niju hachi gatsu sanjuu nichi M. thank you for eh thank you for helping me with my research first I'm going to ask you some questions about yourself feel free if you would like to ask me any question about myself

3          K:         at any time and after that we are going to look at the same pictures and ask each other some questions is that . does it sounds all right?

5          K:         thank you  …. ok first . right . oh whi in which country did you oh sorry in which country were you born in ?

6          E          I was born in Japan

7          K:         Japan . ok where about in Japan

8          E          eh in Kanagawa

9          K:         Kanagawa . ok . when did you arrive in arrive at Australia?

10        E          in June

11        K:         June this year?

12        E          yeah this year

13        K:         oh June? . oh this X uh huh so you be here for ..

14        E          almost three month

15        K:         almost three month . did you enjoy being in Australia? hhhh

17        K:         very good . why did you come to Australia?

18        E          um I wanted to improve my English . also right now I'm taking the class for be a Japanese teacher

20        E          I want to be a Japanese teacher in Japan

23        K:         oh so English is pretty good

25        K:         how long you know how long have you have you been learning English?

26        E          since junior high s eh more than ten years

27        K:         X and which language actually do you speak at home?

34        E          eh because I use working in office and the office had lots of foreigners so some . some of them doesn't know Japanese

40        E          first I used to work in Nova
