Placement Grants (SSAF funded)

Placement Grants

In 2024, the Placements Hub is providing one off grants to support the costs of placements for students.  There are a limited number of grants available under this pilot program, and we hope the demand and the data received from student applications will support future funding extensions.

All Undergraduate, Honours, and Coursework Postgraduate students currently enrolled excluding staff members are eligible to apply.

As this is a pilot program, it will over costs students have incurred from 2024 onwards.

Placements are defined as per Western's Placement policy:  required as part of a program of study or subject of a program of study (including an elective subject).

Please note: If an applicant is under the age of 18 years, they are required to obtain their parent’s or guardian’s consent to make an application and include a record of this as part of their application.
