Placements Hub
The Placements Hub provides key core services to students and Schools to prepare for placements and WIL experiences. The Hub aligns legislated, regulated and accredited frameworks, university requirements and administrative operations together to support the delivery of placements and work integrated learning activities. The Hub has centralised and consolidated key operational processes and practices to support the co-delivery of subjects and programs of study where credit-bearing placements and WIL experiences are required.
Our focus is to:
- Manage and support the use of InPlace, the university's student placement management system
- Deliver a centralised NSW Health student compliance process for students
- Maintain Western's Placement Policy and encourage compliance with its requirements
- Oversee, guide and advice on placement agreements and managing high level strategic placement partnerships .
