The Margot Hardy Gallery on the Bankstown campus of the University of Western Sydney is currently home to the ‘Practising Me’ exhibition.

The exhibition is a collection of works from students of Elizabeth Macarthur High School, who have been exploring art making practices and the process of developing art.

‘Practising Me’ is an exhibition which includes both portraiture and landscape pieces, and demonstrates the innovative and creative practices currently being taught in the high school curriculum at Elizabeth Macarthur High School, including year 11’s exploration of textural surfaces and landscape painting, drawing and photographing.

The exhibition includes pieces from years 9 to 11 and displays a variety of mediums including watercolours, oil sticks, gesso and Photoshop manipulations.

‘Practising Me’ will be on display until Saturday 24 August. More information can be found on the Margot Hardy Gallery website.
