CPAKidz 1

The Margot Hardy Gallery, based on the Bankstown campus of the University of Western Sydney will soon be home to the CPAKidz Art and Music Exhibition, and expressions of interest for performers at the Official Opening are now open.

The Exhibition will display artwork by children involved in the Chinese Parents Association – Children with Disabilities Inc (CPAKidz)(opens in a new window). Nick Baldas, Exhibition Curator, is currently calling for performances for the opening of the exhibition, to be held on Sunday 1 December 2013.

“This exhibition shows the wonderful art of children involved in CPAKidz and at the Official Opening we’re hoping to exhibit the musical and performance abilities of local community members with a disability,” says Mr Baldas.

“The opening will be a safe and creative environment which will also help to break down some of the isolation potentially felt by performers with a disability and their families.”

CPAKidz is a charitable support group was formed in1988 by members of the Greater Sydney Chinese community who have a child with a disability. Expressions of interest for performances at the official opening of the CPAKidz Art and Music Exhibition are open to anyone within the Greater Sydney area who has a disability and is available to perform on Sunday 1 December 2013.
