The School of Medicine at Western Sydney University, on the custodial lands of the Dharawal people, is proud to host the Australian Physiology Competition.
The Australian Physiology Competition (APC) is open to all medical students across Australia and inspired by the annual Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) involving more than 100 participating universities around the world.
The APC aims to promote the study of physiology whilst encouraging greater collaboration between Australian students and physiology faculties. It offers an opportunity for medical students to challenge themselves and be recognised for their individual achievement, while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship within and between universities. In doing so, students can consolidate their foundational knowledge and broaden their learning as they engage with the different curriculums from other medical schools. The APC helps prepare medical students to be leaders at the local, national, as well as international, level.
The Competition
The competition consists of two components: an individual quiz and a team-based oral competition in front of a panel of judges. Prizes will be handed out to top performers in both the individual and team components. High performing teams will also have the opportunity to represent Australia in the Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz in July, held in the Philippines.
All medical students enrolled in Australian universities are invited to compete! Register as a team of 2 - 4 or register individually and we will help place you into a team.

You can register here.

All parking on campus is Pay and Display and parking permits are available from the pay and display permit machines located in the parking areas on the campus (refer to the Campbelltown campus map for the exact location of the permit machines).
