This was a special screening of all the short films in competition at the 5th Persian Film Festival from emerging and established filmmakers from Iran, Australia, USA and the Netherlands that address diverse issues.

The event, a unique opportunity to view some remarkable contemporary films, was hosted by Amin Palangi, an award winning filmmaker and WSU Lecturer in Convergent Media.

The Persian Film Festival opened in Sydney on 29 September 2016 at Palace Cinemas, Leichhardt.
