Venture Makers Innovation Challenge 2023

The upcoming Venture Makers Innovation Challenge held on 27 April 2023 will see interdisciplinary teams explore a real-life problem to come up with an innovative solution.

In this ONE DAY challenge, teams will work with participants from various disciplines (from Business, Communications, ICT, to Health, Psychology and others), to explore how we can promote mental health in Western Sydney.

Participants will work with specialist mentors from startups and organisations to help them develop ideas that apply advanced technology concepts and innovative business models while working in a real-world environment. This is a transformational experience that will develop the skills to accelerate your career progression.

Working in interdisciplinary teams, participants will propose new ideas and solutions for How to Promote Mental Health in Western Sydney with a focus on "technology for good". Ideas and solutions could include; technologies, startup companies, campaigns, policies and regulations, education programs or other ideas to address identified industry sector areas, including:

• Innovative Clinical Approaches
• Supporting Mental Wellbeing
• Access and Equity
• Understanding and Reducing Stigma
