TRIM (Content Manager)
TRIM (Content Manager) is the official recordkeeping system for Western Sydney University.
It is an enterprise document and records management system (EDRMS) for physical and electronic information designed to help businesses capture, manage, and secure business information in order to meet governance and regulatory compliance obligations. It has been used at Western Sydney University since 2004.
The advantages of this system are extensive, and include desktop integration with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project). TRIM (Content Manager) is also accessible via the web at the following link.
Records Support Officer
Each unit within the University has been assigned a Records Support Officer within RAMS, to provide guidance in
- Using TRIM (Content Manager) – both desktop and web application,
- Understanding their recordkeeping obligations, and
- Developing compliant recordkeeping practices.
