There are two Scholarships available.

• $10,000 per year for up to three years*

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Confirmation of Identity:

• identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and submit documentation declaring and confirming Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity.

Enrolment:

• New or continuing student

Program/s:

• Any undergraduate degree in the School/s of Business or Law

Go Foundation

GO provides education scholarships to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from primary school through to university. GO's program is holistic, and GO's Scholarships Team is made up of Aboriginal people, who deliver the program, working with education providers, families and carers to provide high level pastoral and culturally appropriate support.

Cultural and aspirational activities: We provide opportunities for students to learn more about their culture and the history of our Country. The focus is on building resilience and inspiration, as well as supporting our young people in considering different pathways in their education and beyond.

Access and opportunity:  Partners support the GO Program directly by providing opportunities to students, hosting and facilitating events, placing students for internships as well as employing GO Alumni. Our Partners also provide access to experiences that seek to broaden the Scholars’ perspectives.

Financial support: Students receive financial support to purchase the resources they need to ensure their journey through school and university is as rewarding as possible.

Application and Selection Process

Applications are to be submitted through the Western Sydney University scholarship form.

Applicants must provide a statement supporting their application indicating how they believe receiving the scholarship will assist them with their studies and future careers. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need, and merit.

Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, ability to meet the criteria, and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.

Applications will be assessed by the Indigenous Scholarships Assessment Panel.

Continuing Eligibility Criteria

• Recipients must remain enrolled at Western.
• Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0
