Become a 'Friend of the Waterkeeper Alliance'

The Hawkesbury-Nepean Waterkeeper Alliance (HNWA) have formed a 'Friends of the Waterkeeper Alliace' (FWA) network. A ‘friend’ is considered someone who belongs to the Alliance as an organisational member. Applications to join are open year round. Please complete and submit the form below to express your interest to join.

The FWA is open to government, non-government organisations, industry, community groups (including Landcare and Streamwatch) or not-for-profit organisation from across the Hawkesbury-Nepean catchment (particularly those between Warragamba Dam and Wisemans Ferry). An organisational representative for all FWA members are expected to:

  • attend at least 2 meetings a year, with the option to host meetings.
  • offer in-kind support and resources (see 5. FWA Opportunities and Resource) for waterways including wetlands, either on their property or in support of FWA projects as applicable.

Applications will be reviewed by Hawkesbury-Nepean Waterkeeper Alliance working group and an outcome will be provided within approximately 8 weeks. There is currently no membership fee to join.
