WHS & Wellbeing management system
Western Sydney University is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. As such, the University has developed a Work Health Safety and Wellbeing Management System.
The University's WHS & Wellbeing Management System is divided into three main parts:
- Governance and management framework - Policies
- Health and safety standards and processes - Procedures
- Tools for implementation - Forms and guidelines
Policies
The WHSW unit has developed and maintains the following health and safety policies:
- Accident, injury, incident, hazard reporting and investigation policy
- After hours access and safety policy
- Injury management policy
- First aid policy
- Sun protection policy
- Smoking policy
- Work health and safety policy
Procedures
The WHSW unit has developed and maintains the following procedures:
These procedures are currently in the process of being updated to reflect best practice.
