Curriculum Advisor Team and Resources

Providing expert advice and support to Schools in the development, implementation and evaluation of curricula.

Curriculum Advisors work under the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor (Learning Transformations) and are School based, working collaboratively to enhance the quality of course and unit design at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Curriculum Advisors also embed University-wide curriculum transformation initiatives.

Priorities for curriculum development are decided in collaboration with Deputy Deans and PVC (Learning Transformations).

Driven by informed by evidence and best practice, the team utilise a range of indicators and feedback mechanisms to ensure quality curricula. Holding higher degree research qualifications, the Curriculum Advisors also have extensive practical and theoretical experience and training in:

  • Contemporary models of curriculum design
  • Developing curricula that integrates learning technologies
  • Experiential and work-integrated learning
  • Innovative assessment design that supports academic integrity
  • Alignment of learning outcomes, course content, delivery and assessment
