PAQS Conference in Sydney 2018

Navodana Rodrigo along with the supervisory panel comprising of Prof. Srinath Perera, Dr. Sepani Senaratne and Dr. Xiaohua Jin published a research paper titled “Blockchain for Construction Supply Chains: A Literature Synthesis” at the annual ICEC PAQS Conference on 19th November 2018 in Sydney. The ICEC PAQS Conference is a world renowned peer-reviewed annual conference where a majority of local and international construction managers and quantity surveyors participate to demonstrate their research work. It was indeed a fruitful platform to present the research paper and receive feedback from such an expert audience consisting of intelligent and experienced industry practitioners.

Navodana Rodrigo presented her doctoral research study titled, “Methodology for estimating embodied carbon through a blockchain platform for construction supply chains” at the annual Co.Lab Conference organised by Landcom and UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation on 22nd November 2018 at Parramatta North Heritage Core, Parramatta. The Co.Lab 2018 is themed on the basis of collaborative research and learning partnerships. While Navodana represented Western Sydney University by presenting her study, several other universities such as University of Newcastle, University of Technology Sydney, University of Sydney, University of NSW, Macquarie University, Southern Cross University and University of Wollongong participated in this event.
