Parking at Western Sydney University
During the ever-changing coronavirus situation, the health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff has been our highest priority. Parking fees were suspended for staff, students and visitors in April 2020, given the limited campus use at that time. As we progress our Return to Campus plan and a larger number of people attend our campuses, parking remains free throughout the Summer session (30 November – 21 February), however we will reintroduce the parking permit system at the beginning of Autumn/1H session on 22 February 2021.
For those who are required to park on campus, you are reminded to please ensure you:
- park wholly within a marked bay (blue or yellow)
- only park in a designated disability parking space if you have a valid MPS permit (opens in a new window) displayed
- park in a manner that does not jeapordise the safety of others
- park in a manner that does not damage University grounds and environment
Western Sydney University assumes no responsibility for the care or protection of vehicles or their contents while driven or parked on our campuses. Please refer to the Western Sydney University Parking and Traffic Policy for further details.
Pedestrians have the right of way at all times at Western Sydney University. Traffic signage and speed limits must be obeyed while driving on our campuses.
Australian Road Rules (opens in a new window) apply when driving on Western Sydney University roads.
Details on alternative ways of travelling to our campuses are available on the Getting to Uni webpage.
