GHG Emissions: NGER

Each financial year (FY), the University reports emissions to the Australian Government's Clean Energy Regulator (opens in a new window) under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme (opens in a new window) using Emission Factors (EF) outlined in the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 (opens in a new window).

NGER REPORTING

FY 2023-24

Greenhouse Gas emissions for the 2023-24 financial year were reported to the Clean Energy Regulator under the National Greenhouse Energy Reporting (opens in a new window) (NGER) scheme.

Total consumption from Scopes 1 and 2* was 225,099 GJ, created emissions to total 34,519 t CO2-e.
