Dr Nicolene Murdoch is the Pro Vice-Chancellor Educational Partnerships and Quality at Western Sydney University. She is an accomplished higher education professional with a wealth of experience in academia and executive leadership. She began her career at the University of Johannesburg and later joined Monash South Africa, where she served in various roles, including Chief Operating Officer. Nicolene's tenure at Monash South Africa provided her with extensive experience in managing all aspects of campus life and navigating the regulatory landscape.

In 2018, Nicolene became the Chief Executive Officer of Western Sydney University, The College, where she managed academic pathway programs and vocational offerings. She currently serves as the Pro Vice Chancellor, Educational Partnership and Quality at Western Sydney University, providing strategic guidance to senior executives and leading initiatives to enhance program quality and support educational partnerships.

Nicolene's expertise spans various areas of higher education, including quality improvement, student administration, and international collaboration. She is dedicated to driving excellence in education and has a strong track record of success in her career.
