Carbon Neutrality

In line with our global pledge 'Race to Zero', Western is working towards achieving carbon neutrality in 2023 by becoming Climate Active certified.

Sustainability Education is located in the Learning Futures Portfolio (opens in a new window) under the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Learning Futures) and supports the education mission of the University to develop citizens’ for a sustainable future and deliver on the University’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

Our CORE Framework

Western Sydney University has responded to this commitment by identifying the SDG linkages to our CORE - Curriculum, Operations, Research and Engagement - framework.
