Quick Reference Guides

A series of Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) have been developed to clarify clauses from the Academic and Professional Enterprise Agreement (EA) that are often misinterpreted. These guides aim to help staff accurately and consistently apply EA provisions, reducing confusion and ensuring compliance.

Development Process

The creation of the QRGs involved:

  1. Consultation with the People Services team to identify key employment-related challenges across the University.
  2. Engagement with key stakeholders across the Office for People for feedback prior to finalising drafts.
  3. Engagement with key operational leaders from Schools, Institutes and Finance for feedback.
  4. A compliance review by the Office of General Counsel to ensure alignment with relevant regulations.
