If you feel that walking into a room full of strangers feels like your worst fear, you are not alone. Many people do their best to avoid networking altogether, but this attitude can be detrimental to your success. Networking is an essential skill and it doesn’t have to be as intimidating as you think.

Networking is when you meet new people who share a similar profession, industry or interests with you, and it involves exchanging ideas and information. Building strong relationships and using your network is one of the best ways to find a new job, be introduced to a potential client or investor, find aligned work opportunities, learn from others, and make you feel more confident in your professional capabilities.

In this free training workshop, you will learn how to start conversations that build real connections, how to use social media to network authentically, and practical tips and advice to become a better overall networker.

We encourage as many (introverted) women and multicultural people (men and women) to attend, as this workshop is designed specifically for these communities and for students, but everyone is welcome to attend!
