Who can join the Go Global Ambassador Program?
This program is for all Western Sydney University students who have completed, are currently in, or have been accepted into a global program like a Go Global Exchange, Study Tour, or Short Program.
Is there a time commitment for the program?
For outbound students, there's no set time commitment. You choose activities throughout the year to reach 100 points. Activities like your semester abroad might be worth more points than online courses. Inbound Study Abroad and exchange students can potentially complete this program in their year or semester while at Western as their semester program will already meet a 50 point requirement.
What is the timeframe for completing the program?
The program can be completed in one academic year (or less), with two intakes available each year during Autumn and Spring semesters.
What do I get after completing the program?
Upon reaching 100 points, you'll officially become a Go Global Ambassador and receive:
- A Go Global Ambassador Certificate
- Additional funding for online programs
- Access to special events
- A LinkedIn recommendation from the Go Global team
- Special Ambassador merchandise
- Vouchers and volunteering opportunities
