Abstract Submission and Presentation Support
Abstract submissions for the 2019 Professional Staff Conference are now OPEN.
Support for Presenters
If you are presenting, please plan to speak for 15-20 minutes and allow up to 10 minutes for questions. Session Chairs will assist you in keeping time.
Please ensure you email your presentations to the Conference Organising Committee via email firstname.lastname@example.org, by close of business Friday 21 June.
Posters should be printed and brought along on the day of the Conference for presentation.
Presentation Skills Training
Talent and Leadership Development are running a Presentation Skills Training session on Thursday 30 May. Bookings are essential in MyCareer Online before 23 May (via Staff OnLine) (opens in a new window).
This session gives presenters an opportunity to develop presentation skills. This is also an opportunity for first time presenters to increase confidence prior to the Conference, and for group presenters to learn the tips to fine tune timing and roles.
Tips for your abstract
- Your abstract should be well structured in a manner that is clear, concise and easily conveys the meaning and objectives of your presentation.
- The abstract must be grammatically correct.
- The abstract should relate to the conference theme and your target audience.
