Humanitarian Visa Classes
Australian Humanitarian Visa Holders must provide:
- a copy of the pages in your passport showing your personal details, and
- a Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) that you have downloaded within the last 3 months. Download Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) (homeaffairs.gov.au)
Accepted Visa Classes:
Asylum Seeker Scholarships
For Asylum Seeker Scholarships applications, we will accept:
- 785 – Temporary Protection Visa
- 786 – Temporary (Humanitarian Concern) Visa
- 790 – Safe Haven Enterprise Visa
- 010 – Bridging Visa A
- 030 – Bridging Visa C*
- 050 & 051 – Bridging Visa E**
- 449 - Temporary Safe Haven visa**)
* Applicants holding a BVC will need to submit a letter or relevant documentation from a recognised organisation supporting their status as a refugee or asylum seeker and must ensure they have Australian study rights whilst holding that visa.
** Assessed on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the International Admissions office.
*** 449 is only offered for a few months. Students need to have transitioned to a 201, 785, or 786 by the time they commence study.
Refugee Scholarships
For university Refugee Scholarships applications, we will accept:
- 200 – Refugee Visa
- 201 – In Country Special Humanitarian Program Visa
- 202 – Global Special Humanitarian Program Visa
- 203 – Emergency Rescue Visa
- 204 – Woman at Risk Visa
- 866 – Protection Visa
