The world of tomorrow is evolving rapidly. To thrive, engineers must adapt. With our interconnected degrees in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, ICT and Industrial Design, you can pursue exciting opportunities in diverse areas and learn how to address the global goals and challenges set by humanity.
Areas of study include hardware and software design, AI, computer forensics, cyber security, robotics and mechatronics, sustainable engineering, building design management, power engineering, machinery design and development, integrated product design and additive manufacturing.
You’ll apply your course knowledge to fascinating, real-world challenges, like Western’s ongoing Solar Car project, Formula-SAE project and Unlimited Robotics Club.
Undergraduates study at our Penrith, Sydney City and Parramatta South campus – facilities you’ll share with our Arts students. So you can collaborate with disciplines like Design and Creative Industries, just like in the real world.
Postgraduates study Engineering at our innovative Parramatta City campus, in areas like Fire Safety Engineering, Building Surveying and Bushfire Protection.
Graduates of our Engineering program are eligible to apply for full membership of Engineers Australia. They are eligible to apply for Chartered Professional Engineering registration upon successful completion of required engineering practice period specified by Engineers Australia.
