The Rotary Club of Narellan

The Rotary Club of Narellan was chartered in October 1992 and is very active in the Western Sydney community. The club has a strong and enduring history of providing assistance to many Macarthur-based organisations and community groups. It was among the first donors to the new Western Sydney University School of Medicine in 2007.

The Rotary Club of Narellan is committed to supporting the future development of the area by providing two new scholarships each year to young local residents wishing to study medicine at Western Sydney University.

Application and Selection Process

Applicants must provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the receipt of the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need and merit.

Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, their ability to meet the criteria and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.
