Liverpool Boys High School Scholarship
$7,500 per year for the first two years of any degree
Any undergraduate degree
- be Australian citizens, permanent residents or have been granted a humanitarian visa, preferably within the last five years
- be commencing study or currently enrolled full-time in the first year of any undergraduate degree at Western Sydney University
- be recent graduates of Liverpool Boys High School
- demonstrate equity considerations such as economic, social or other disadvantage, based on equity considerations (opens in a new window) as assessed by the University
Applicants are encouraged to highlight their interests outside of academia, including family commitments, community engagement, volunteering, sport etc.
The intention of the donor is that the scholarship will be used to support university fees costs.
The Liverpool Boys High School scholarship is generously donated by Mr Peter Eichhorn, in recognition of his time at the school. Peter believes all students should have the opportunity to succeed, whatever their circumstances.
Applications and Selection Process
Applicants must provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the receipt of the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need and merit.
Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, their ability to meet the criteria and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.
