Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen
Enrolment:
- new or continuing student
Program/s:
- Science-related program offered at the Hawkesbury campus (opens in a new window)
Additional:
- demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the agriculture industry, and an eagerness to take a leadership role within the industry, as outlined in a personal statement.
Neville Amy
Neville Amy was a founding member of the Hawkesbury Foundation. He served as a director of the foundation from 1982 to 1996, and as chair from 1994 to 1996. The Neville Amy Scholarship was established by the Hawkesbury Foundation in memory of the contributions made by Neville Amy to the agriculture industry and to Western Sydney University.
Application and Selection Process
Applicants must provide a statement supporting their application indicating how they believe receiving the scholarship will assist them with their studies and future careers. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need and merit.
Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, ability to meet the criteria, and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.

Continuing Eligibility Criteria
- Recipients must remain enrolled at Western.
- Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.0.
