Biography
Kath Peters is a Professor and the Associate Dean (International and Engagement) in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Western Sydney University. She has expertise in all aspects of qualitative research with a particular interest in feminist methodology. She has attained both internal and external research funding and has successfully led multiple funded and unfunded research projects to completion. She has a track record in ensuring research outcomes with over 150 publications in peer- reviewed journals and over 70 conference presentations. Her research encompasses marginalised populations, women’s sexual and reproductive health and mental health. Kath has supervised 11 PhD and 9 Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) students to completion and is currently providing supervision for multiple PhD and BN (Hons) students.
