The Academy at Western is a place to learn, grow and transform as a leader and changemaker.
Focused on transformative and impactful leadership, our program is designed to build your awareness, knowledge, and critical skills to lead with confidence and purpose.
As an Academy member, you will grow your potential by interacting with innovative education, working and learning in interdisciplinary environments, engaging with local and international communities, and connecting with industry and community leaders.
You will engage with rich academic, personal, and professional development through a range of activities such as mentoring, internships, conferences and immersions including international opportunities.
Underpinned by leadership and community impact, you will engage with programs and activities focused on developing your skills in the areas of Employability, Personal Development and Wellbeing, Community Engagement, and Global Citizenship.
You will be guided and supported by The Academy to build your foundational knowledge across these themes and take deep dives into topics that interest you the most.

The Academy Degree
The Bachelor of Creative Leadership can be combined with any Bachelor Degree at Western, with a focus on internships, global experiences and community engagement.
Global Opportunities
We have developed a number of unique opportunities for our members to undertake transformational learning experiences internationally.
Community Participation
The Academy has a wide range of partnerships with local community organisations, with opportunities to participate in volunteering, service learning internships and projects.
