Study Interpreting and Translation

Can you speak a language other than English? Would you like to facilitate communication between people? Would you like to secure a job translating healthcare information, government websites, scientific papers, films or celebrity interviews? Would you like to interpret in courts, hospitals or diplomatic meetings?

Western Sydney University offers you the right courses to become an accredited professional translator and/or interpreter. You will receive hands-on training by leading researchers and practicing interpreters and translators. Western Sydney is the only university in Australia whose undergraduate course is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). Languages available: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, Thai, Spanish or Vietnamese, subject to demand.
