Thesis Title:

Innovative BIM-Oriented Platform for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) of Prefabricated Residential Buildings

Project summary:

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative BIM-oriented platform that can produce practical DfMA solutions for low-rise residential buildings, applicable for a wide range of architectural plans while using the current popular construction systems. The expected outcome would be an extension plug-in for current BIM programs specifically for Autodesk Revit that assist architects and designers in designing modular residential buildings with limited knowledge of prefabrication.
