Disruption to studies

The University recognises that sometimes things outside of your control impact your ability to complete your studies. If you need to request an extension for an assignment, be excused from a teaching activity or request an alternate assessment we have a range of processes in place to support you.   

If you've experienced an illness, hardship or have needed to take on carer responsibilities for a short or long term, find out about Requesting an extension or disruption to studies provision. If you are unable to attend a final exam due to a serious illness, misadventure or other exceptional circumstance beyond your control you can apply for a deferred exam

My Student Records (MySR)

MySR is where you can find personal information and program records, your results, and where you can check and/or pay fees. This is also where you need to go to register into your subjects. Don't forget to check the handbook for your subject sequence so you know what subjects to register in for your program and when.

Information Technology and Digital Services (ITDS)

Visit the MyIT Portal to submit a request online, live chat with one of our Service Desk professionals, and browse additional help articles. You can also seek IT support by calling 9852 5111 or emailing itservicedesk@westernsydney.edu.au
