Getting to uni
Kingswood Campus is on Second Avenue, Kingswood. Nearby main roads are Great Western Highway and Northern Road.
Enter Werrington South Campus via Great Western Highway.
Entry from O'Connell Street into Kingswood campus is temporarily closed due to roadworks.
Buses stop right outside our Kingswood campus (main campus). You can catch the following routes: 770, 774, 775, 776 and 835.
Get the train to Kingswood station and take our free shuttle bus to, from and between Kingswood, Werrington South and Werrington North.
If you prefer to bike it into uni, we have four bicycle stands as well as men’s and women’s showers.

every 15 minutes or so. There’s also a handy, real-time bus-tracker.

We want to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to study at Western. So, we offer you access to a great range of services, like career advice, tutors, medical help, counselling, computers, study spaces, a kitchen and printing facilities – even opportunities to study abroad.
If you are concerned about your safety on campus at any time, please contact Campus Safety and Security on 1300 737 003 or call 2300 from any fixed internal phone on campus if you have immediate concerns for your safety. Keep your eye out for the many emergency contact points as well. Just press the button and a security officer will be with you in moments.
Got little ones? Take advantage of Western’s fantastic childcare centre. It’s open from 7.30am to 6pm, and offers long-day or occasional care for $10 an hour. Kingwood's child care centre can be found in Building A.
If you have a disability, chronic health condition or temporary injury, the Disability Services team can help with things like pre-admission, note takers, readers, sign interpreters, video and podcast transcripts, assistive technology, textbooks and materials in alternative formats, the list goes on.
If you are struggling with accommodation, financial hardship, personal issues, study related issues, matters related to student visa or if you are having trouble understanding university policies and procedures, the Student Welfare Service can help you work through it. Accommodation you can afford
Western’s on-campus accommodation is a hop, skip and jump from your classroom. Choose a shared villa or flat, or rent your own studio apartment. Get 24/7 support, security and WiFi access, as well as the use of our laundry facilities and courtyard, computer lab and games room. There’s even the odd cooking class.
Western’s on-campus library is open until 7pm most weekdays. Outside of staffed hours, our study hall gives you nearly 24-hour library access.
Having trouble with the WiFi or online services? Our IT support team is always happy to help.
Need access to a computer? Our computer labs are open until 3am every day and can be found in buildings V and P.
Campus Tours 2020
Come and explore all Western Sydney University has to offer. Prospective students, their family and the general public can take one of our guided Campus Tours and see what life at Western is really like.
You’ll take a tour of our lecture theatres and teaching spaces, stroll through our campus libraries, and visit some of our world-class facilities where students gain hands-on, practical experience. You will speak to Academic staff, current and past students while having the opportunity to learn more about the various degrees on offer, course selection, living on campus and university life.
Great food for all occasions
Studying is hungry work. Grab a cuppa or a snack and refuel on the way to class. There are also plenty of GF and vegetarian options.
The Food Hub can be found in Building O.

Piccolo Me appeals to serious coffee lovers just as much as it does to those who delight in its creative concoctions. Only highly trained baristas serve coffee which is 100% Arabica Fair Trade Organic.
Located in building K, the menu is a mix of things not found at other cafes, creating twists on childhood favourites and making your meal fun. Creations like the “Esprookie”, an espresso served in a Nutella cookie cup or the popular “Crotop”, a Nutella-filled croissant bite coated in crushed M&M peanuts or maltesers on top of a piccolo coffee is making Piccolo Me the dessert king of Sydney.

Celestial Images - Hairdresser
Celestial Images has been a part of the campus services for the past 27 years and continues to serve Western Sydney University Penrith Campus staff, students customers from surrounding suburbs. We cater for everyone's diverse hair needs, specialising in cut and colour.
Social and Cultural Spaces
Join our fully equipped, state-of-the-art gym for only $15 a week, or sign up for a free single visit. There are no lock-in contracts, no joining fee and casual visits are just $7.50. You can also take part in Bootcamps, Yoga, Boxing and HIIT training.
Our multi-faith centre is for everyone on campus, whether you hold to a faith or not. Drop by to pray, reflect, meditate, connect with religious groups, or just take some time out.
Western has a number of on-campus men’s and women’s Muslim prayer rooms. These include Qibla-facing prayer carpets, a place for Wudu, and female prayer clothing if needed.
The Queer Room is a place for LGBTIQ peeps and their straight allies to relax, chat and find support.
