Studying online allows you the flexibility to study any time and anywhere.

While most courses at Western offer flexible study options, some are also available fully online. These courses are offered via a blend of leading edge technology tools for content presentation and collaborative work outside the classroom.

We offer a range of support systems to help you with your studies and you will graduate with the same degree as your on-campus counterparts.

With our online course you can study on your time, when it works for you, your work, family and life commitments.

Student Support

When you enrol in our online courses you will get access to a number of support resources that will help you drive towards success.

We will provide you with academic, technical support, library resources and other resources listed below.

Student Central is the first point of contact for enquiries and advice relating to your study and matters specific to International students, providing general advice and referrals on things like enrolment and fees, exams and results, graduation, or help with lodging a form.

Learning support is available for questions around literacy, writing assignments, time management and referencing.

All University Library resources are available for online students. The Online Librarian is ready to assist by chat, email or phone.

Our IT support team is available to help you with any technical needs.

Many of your study materials will be available free of charge. For inquiries into the e-book program ask the Online Librarian and to order any texts that you do need, or to buy a Western hoodie, contact The University Store.

If you’re feeling down or stressed, get in touch with Western’s counselling service. Our qualified social workers and psychologists have got your back.

We have a Facebook page called Western Sydney U Online Social Life. Join this page to get involved with the social aspect of studying at Western Sydney University.
