Science at Western
The increase in accessible data over the past few decades has promoted the use of Data Science, making it a desired skill in many professions. In this program you will further investigate the methods of regression, clustering and classification that form the basis of a data scientist’s toolbox. This degree combines Data Science with learning about Education where you will also take four units of study in Education Studies. You will be offered a place in the Master Teaching program on successful completion of the degree.

Big Data Scientist
As a big data scientist you can enjoy designing and managing big data and information. You will also define data architecture to help analyse and process information.

The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the course (80 credit points) per annum. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their course based on the approved fee for each calendar year. Fee changes (if any) will occur at 1 January each calendar year. Students who extend their course past the normal finish date of the course will be required to pay additional fees based on the prevailing fee level.
