Doctor Nazanin Salehi

Biography

Dr Nazanin Salehi is a researcher at Centre for Infrastructure Engineering at the School of Engineering Design and Built Environment (EDBE). She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from high-ranked universities of Iran in the field of Civil Engineering and Earthquake Engineering, respectively. She got awarded two scholarships from Edith Cowan University and Western Sydney University in Australia for doing PhD research. She has experiences of teaching in wide areas of civil engineering as well as leading full-scale structural research projects at the structural laboratory at Western Sydney University.

She has an excellent knowledge on research topics related to light-weight timber and steel buildings, the control of vibration of bridges, non-uniform excitation of bridges' piers, and earthquake engineering.
