Doctor Arash Rayegani

Biography

Dr. Arash Rayegani has a unique blend of academic and industrial experiences. His expertise extends to designing and evaluating passive and smart damping control systems, designing and detailing structures, conducting structural assessments of existing buildings, and retrofitting structures to enhance performance. In addition, he excelled in reliability evaluation and optimization. He has actively contributed diverse multidisciplinary designs for major industrial and construction projects, collaborating with esteemed international companies such as GERB, FIP MEC, DAMPTECH, COWI, and other renowned firms in this field.

With an extensive background in software development and AI, Dr. Rayegani adeptly utilized machine learning techniques and proposed solutions that significantly enhance precision and speed in both research and industrial workflows. This groundbreaking approach reveals exciting possibilities for applications in structural health monitoring, digital twinning, BIM, optimization, and smart vibration control systems.

Dr. Rayegani is currently a research fellow at the Center for Infrastructure Engineering, and actively participates in diverse research and consulting projects.
