In the BCL, you will engage with innovative assessments that prepare you for work-related challenges and gain experience by participating in a diverse range of real-world opportunities. Students learn to articulate their ideas into innovative strategies that address complex contemporary and future challenges. The skills learned in the BCL are transferable to any discipline and are what the employer of tomorrow will be seeking in a graduate in various roles including global workplaces.
Program structure
The Bachelor of Creative Leadership is a concurrent degree that is designed to be combined with any Bachelor degree at Western.
The BCL degree consists of eight subjects that can be taken concurrently with subjects in your discipline-based degree. The subjects are designed with flexibility in-mind and delivered in intensive mode in the week prior to the commencement of Autumn and Spring sessions. This allows students to take a BCL subject in addition to the four discipline-based subjects in a semester, and/or complete BCL subjects during Summer sessions*.

*The tuition fees quoted above are the fees for the normal full-time study load of the program (80 credit points) per annum. International students will be subject to a variable fee regime; i.e. enrolled students will be required to pay fees during their program based on the approved fee for each calendar year. Fee changes (if any) will occur at 1 January each calendar year. Students who extend their program past the normal finish date of the program will be required to pay additional fees based on the prevailing fee level.
