Social Life

Want to know who to get more involved in the social side of University life? We have a range of opportunities both on and off our campus to help you make the most of your uni experience!

WesternLife

Not sure how to find out what's happening and how to get involved?

Join thousands of students using WESTERNLife to see what's happening on your campus, learn about off-campus trips you can get involved in, join a sports team, parents group, cultural groups, reading club, ADF veteran club, volunteering group, special interest club... you get the idea. You can also find out when the next free breakfast or dinner is happening at your home or local campus.

English conversation groups

If you want to build your language skills in a social environment, check out these groups run by trained student volunteers. English conversation groups assist international students and local students from a non-English speaking background to develop their confidence in English and make friends.

MATES

MATES is a peer mentoring program for commencing and first year students.

It provides you with an opportunity to connect with other new students and mentors in later years of study. This helps you make social networks and acquire knowledge and skills to help settle into life at university.
