The competition was tough with six New South Wales universities competing. Our sincerest congratulations to the University of New South Wales team that won the right to represent Australia in the International Real Estate Case Competition.

The event provided the students with a real case to analyse modeled on the Menzies Hotel in Sydney that was completely redeveloped into Brookfield Place in Sydney. It also provided them with opportunities to connect with the industry sponsors that included: Greystar, Cliffbrook Capital, Blackstone, Brookfield Asset Management, PwC Australia, NAB, The GPT Group, Aliro Group, Wentworth Capital, MA Financial Group, CBRE and PropConnex.

On the 8th of September, the industry sponsors hosted all of the participating students in educational tours through their offices. Special thanks to Paul Heller and the team from PropConnex for organising the two days.
