The Complaints and Misconduct Management System is a dedicated and secure, online platform designed to streamline the reporting and management of complaints, student misconduct, research integrity issues, and allegations of sexual offences.

Why did we need a new system for reporting complaints and misconduct?

The new complaints and misconduct management system will enable swift handling of issues, and enhanced reporting capabilities. It will also ensure robust data security and privacy management fostering a safe, reliable and positive campus culture and student experience where staff and students feel respected and valued. By streamline workflows and ensuring a single source of truth we will improve timeliness, data reliability and overall experience.

Are we obligated to use the Complaints and Misconduct Reporting Portal?

Staff must use the portal to report any student misconduct matters (academic, research and general).

The portal will also serve as the main avenue for student, staff and public to log their complaints including allegations such as sexual misconduct matters, with other channels remaining open to ensure ‘no wrong door’ approach.

Can I report anonymously?

Yes. In all cases, users have the option to report a matter anonymously. However the ability to follow up will reporters will not be possible in these circumstances.
